🔍Description
In this project, I explored the theatrical essence of Schiaparelli’s couture collections through a series of hand-drawn fashion illustrations. Using only watercolours and pencil, I recreated the sculptural silhouettes and surreal detailing the fashion house is known for — gold accents, anatomical motifs, and exaggerated shapes.
This project was both a technical challenge and a creative indulgence, as it allowed me to work without digital tools and immerse myself fully in tactile sketching and texture experimentation. The illustrations were developed as part of a thematic series showcasing haute couture interpretations through my own aesthetic lens.
🎬Conclusion
This was one of the most fulfilling analog illustration projects I’ve created, reaffirming my love for hand-drawn media. While my portfolio includes a range of digital work, I believe that hand-rendered design remains unmatched in communicating emotion, history, and artistic depth — which aligns beautifully with what the Schiaparelli brand stands for.

This project not only refined my skills in traditional media but also became a pivotal reference in my portfolio for jobs requiring interpretive fashion visualisation.
